Our team organizes training sessions, but is also interested in responding to requests to organize training \u201c\u00e0 la carte\u201d according to your specific situation.<\/p>\n<p>We also give advices to our partners \/ clients about book's choices, publishers and libraries sustainability. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><br><strong>Methodology : a<\/strong>ll training sessions use interactive methodology by alternating theory and practice \u2013 trainers are responsive to the specific needs of each participant. Pre- and post-training tests enable each participant\u2019s performance to be assessed.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br>Trainers:<\/strong>the trainers are experienced Sipar reading program managers, librarians and reading facilitators with more than 10 years of experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br>Training fees:<\/strong>training fees are calculated according to the content, number of days and participants.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<style>\n#text-634950761 {\n  line-height: 1.3;\n  text-align: left;\n}\n<\/style>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t<div id=\"text-3500055318\" class=\"text\">\n\t\t\n\n<h2>Basic Training in Library Management \u2013 Level 1 \u2013 Code T1<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Target :<\/strong> New librarians in charge of libraries in Khmer, for children or the wider public<\/p>\n<p><strong>Number of participants:<\/strong> Minimum 8 \u2013 Maximum 20<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration :<\/strong> 5 days (35 hours)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Content :<\/strong> Participants will develop skills in Dewey Classification \u2013 Specific classification of Khmer fiction books \u2013 Library organization (shelving, signage, internal rules, reader orientation\u2026) \u2013 Manual management of book inventories and lending systems.<\/p>\n<h2>Basic Training in Library Management \u2013 Level 2 \u2013 Code T2<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Target :<\/strong> Librarians who have passed level 1.  Libraries for a wide public (with books in Khmer, and also in English and French)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Number of participants:<\/strong> 4 Minimum &#8211; 14 Maximum<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration :<\/strong> 3 days (18 hours)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Content :<\/strong> Participants will develop skills in book inventory management and lending systems using PMB software (trilingual \u2013 Khmer, English and French). The training is individual or in groups of two.<\/p>\n<h2>Facilitation of Reading activities \u2013 Level 1 \u2013 Storytelling and story reading Code T3<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Target :<\/strong> Preschool and primary school teachers and librarians, educators, children\u2019s facilitators<\/p>\n<p><strong>Number of participants:<\/strong> Minimum 5 &#8211; Maximum 15<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration :<\/strong> 2 days (12 hours)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Content :<\/strong> Participants will develop skills in storytelling and story reading and will get to practice with children on field.<\/p>\n<h2>Facilitation of Reading activities \u2013 Level 2 - Storytelling and story reading Code T4<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Target :<\/strong> Preschool and primary school teachers and librarians, educators, children\u2019s facilitators<\/p>\n<p><strong>Number of participants:<\/strong> Minimum 5 &#8211; Maximum 15<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration :<\/strong> 3 days (18 hours)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Content :<\/strong> Participants will develop skills related to story reading using Kamishibai and puppets and produce puppets. They will get to practice with children on field.<\/p>\n<h2>Facilitation of Reading activities \u2013 Level 3 \u2013 Creative and educational activities around books \u2013 Code T5<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Target :<\/strong> Preschool and primary school teachers and librarians, educators, children\u2019s facilitators<\/p>\n<p><strong>Number of participants:<\/strong> Minimum 5 &#8211; Maximum 15<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration :<\/strong> 3 days (18 hours)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Content :<\/strong> Participants will develop skills to create inclusive educational games and activities related to Khmer, Math and Science. They will get to practice with children on field.<\/p>\n<h2>Reading with toddlers and preschool children (0 to 5 years) \u2013 Code T6<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Target :<\/strong> Preschool teachers and parents\u2019 facilitators<\/p>\n<p><strong>Number of participants:<\/strong> Minimum 10 \u2013 maximum 20<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration :<\/strong> 2 days (12 hours)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Content :<\/strong> Participants will discover the importance of books and reading for children\u2019s development and the importance of the relationship between children, books and adults. They will develop skills in children\u2019s books selection and usage and how to bring children and books together.
